The living room has a door leading to the hall, a bay window and a chimney breast that creates two alcoves either side. The alcoves were fitted with shelves and arch way paneling made with MDF by Geoff Ilett and hand painted by Denise Ilett.
The ceiling had a ceiling rose added and an antique light bowl fixed to the light.
