PEAR TREE COTTAGE AND ORCHARD




Here is another orchard that has been built on, it was where the bungalows opposite Kerry Farm are sited. I am not sure when it was last a productive orchard but chickens were kept in there when Covingtons were at Kerry farm. Mr George Swain who was the tenant at the time of the sale moved out of the village in October 1914, soon after the sale, I have no idea who bought it.
