Zainabiya Madressa of Milton Keynes

We are a volunteer run Sunday school at the Granby Mosque for children of all ages with a specialised syllabus from Kindergarten to GCSE courses. We create an environment for the betterment of the Islamic Education of our children and nurture students, who will serve humanity to seek closeness to Allah (SWT) in accordance with the tradition of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his Immaculate Household (AS)

Essentially, we promote and teach a better understanding of our faith - the 'Shi'a Ithnasheri faith' - to the children of our community as well as any other community that do not have a similar infrastructure to teach their children. A HOME OF SCHOOL AWAY FROM HOME.

A part of the Shi'a Ithnasheri school of thought of the faith of Islam, we belong to our parent group, the Khoja Shi'a Ithnasheri Community of Milton Keynes'.

The elders of our community in the most part have their origins from the East Africa countries whilst over the last 4 decades the new generation, essentially are British born Khoja Shias. The large chunk of our community is made up of professionals, from Doctors, professors, Airline Pilots to Accountants and Actuaries.

Whilst concentrating on providing the relevant Islamic education to the community of our children, we also promote harmony & better co-existence with other faiths and groups by involving in the 'Interfaith Groups'. We frequently entertain school visits from other secular schools as well as Civil Service providers and other faiths to our community centre so they may better understand our faith & beliefs.
