Burns Night Supper, 2003

'The Burns Night Supper was again a huge success. Held in the Olney Working Men's Club, a total of 110 people attended and ate the usual fare of Haggis washed down with whisky.

The toasts, replies and piping  were again well received and appreciated while the floor show of everyone trying to master Scottish Dancing provided endless amusement to the on-lookers.

Midnight came around far too soon but with the show of hands wishing for a repeat performance, it looks likely that there will be another Burns Night next year.  The Events Team is also trying to promote a St. Georges Day event for 2004.
