A tall arch beneath the tower takes you into the nave. The nave was refurbished in the 14th century and is divided from each side aisle by four pointed arches with octagonal pillars, some of which have capitals of Early English work.
The arcades each side are 14th century and two octagonal capitals of the north arcade and one of the south re-use three late 12th century pieces. The roodloft screen would have intercepted the nave and chancel.
