The Deanshanger Village Heritage Society has been formed for anyone who is interested in caring for the past, present and future of the village.
The Society seeks to
- Provide an historic educational resource
- Create an archive of historic buildings
- Record a library of memories from the past
- Plan towards a public display of village history
- Promote improvements and interest in the heritage of the village
- Arrange open meetings
- Monitor development proposals
- Organise projects around the village
