Buckingham Old Gaol organises a range of events and lectures for all ages. Please check these pages regularly during the year. Those organised directly by Buckingham Heritage Trust and the Friends of the Old Gaol Museum help raise funds for the Old Gaol.     February 2012

    Saturday 4 February ­ 10am to 12 noon
    Coffee, Croissants and Pretzels
    Buckingham Twinning Association will be hosting a coffee and croissants morning in the Old Gaol exercise yard.This year there are also pretzels to reflect the new friendship agreement with the German town of Neukirchen-Vluyn. Free entry.

    Tuesday 14 February ­ 1.30 to 3.30pm
    Children's Activities - Dinosaurs
    We will be joined by 'Bucks Earth Heritage Group - Rocks and You' to discover facts and figures on dinosaurs with hands-on activities for all. Entry: £1.50 per child if a Friend/Trust member. £3.00 if not.

    Tuesday 21 February ­ 10am to 2pm
    Bonhams Valuation Day
    You are welcome to bring in items (up to three) for valuation with a view to selling. Please call Bonhams on 01865 853643 for an appointment.

    Wednesday 22 February ­ 7.30pm
    Trust Talk: Mary Pix & Sarah Fyge
    Dr Kate Harvey will be giving a talk on women dramatists and their progress from north Bucks to London c.1700. Ticket entry: £4 in advance, £5 on the door.
